Atmosphere/Character:
The stadium is nestled in the Montage Mountain Ski resort area. Therefore, the centerfield view out of the stadium is very scenic.
For the most part, baseball is the main focus (as it should be).
As far as sound effects, the stadium played the usual baseball type music. There were some orginal in-between innings contests, which included an air guitar contest, TV show theme song contest, and Hide and Seek. All of the contests are lead by the "Pinstripe Patrol".
The stadium is very clean. Ushers and stadium staff are easily accessible and friendly. If you are looking for a stress free, relaxing environment to watch baseball, PNC Field is the place to go.
