Atmosphere/Character:

I was not a big fan of the atmosphere at LeLacheur Park. Between almost every pitch, a movie clip was played on the video board that in most cases had nothing to do with baseball. I just felt like I was at an amusement park rather than a ballgame.
Once the game began, I didn't see much of the mascot. He was out on the field prior to the game, but after that, he made minimal appearances.

Mascot- "Canaligator"
I did like that the park was located in an area of the city that had character. A unique bridge can be seen over the right field wall as well as old mills, which are now apartment buildings.
Recognition of Team's History and/or MLB Affiliate:

- Retired numbers on the right field wall
- Boston Red Sox Banners on the exterior of the park
- Championship Pennants on the front of the park
- Similar traditions to Fenway Park ("Playing of Sweet Caroline")
Origin of Team's Name:
The Spinners' team name comes from the fact that Lowell was a thriving mill town in the 1700's.
