Seating/Stadium Design:

Frawley Stadium is located along I-95 in Wilmington, DE. I-95 can be seen over the outfield fence. The majority of the seats are fold-down seats with cupholders, but an unusually large portion of the seats are bleacher style with backs. I thought this was a downfall to the park. The Blue Rocks should consider replacing these bleacher style seats with typical fold-down seats. The fold-down seats actually felt a little cheap. When I sat down, the seat did not feel very sturdy. It felt like it was going to crack in half. There are 2 picnic areas located along the baselines, as well as a general admission seating area. Frawley Stadium is another park which has a useless middle concourse separating the two levels of seating. The concourse does not serve a purpose and could be used for more seats. There were several luxury suites. The Press Box was on the concourse level so the view of homeplate from the concourse area is blocked.

The concourse area, as well as the seating area, felt a little cramped to me. When there are large crowds, the concourse area must be very hard to navigate through. Also, the clubhouses can not be accessed through the dugouts, so the players must walk on the field and into another entrance/tunnel to go into the clubhouse.

Atmosphere/Character:

• Players were introduced onto the field one by one. They ran out onto the field with a "Little League buddy". There was a tolerable amount of sound effects and music.
• 
       The Blue Rocks have 3 mascots: Rocky Bluewinkle, Rubble, and Mr. Celery. Mr. Celery comes out and dances after every Blue Rocks run. Finally, a team has a mascot that actually makes sense with their team name (Rubble). Although, Mr. Celery seems unrelated, but he is so darn cute, you just have to love him.
