Food: 
The selection of food seemed to be consistent with other minor league parks. Nothing too out of the ordinary, but a good quality nonetheless. Prices seemed a little higher than other parks. Although, hot dogs were sold for an economical $1.75. Nachos, chicken, steak sandwiches, pretzels, were also available. There seemed to be plenty of concession stands and the lines moved quickly.
Parking: 
- Parking with a $1 and there were plenty of spaces. The lot was close to the entrance
Stadium Design/Seating:
- The sections were clearly marked. The lawn seating area was called the “Sod Squad”.
- Kids play area in right field
- Concourse walkway all the way around the stadium. The outfield concourse area had a Tiki Bar set-up and picnic tables.
- Minimal amount of billboards on the outfield fence.
Atmosphere/Character:
The game began with a clip on the centerfield TV screen from “Field of Dreams” with James Earl Jones talking to Kevin Costner: “The one constant through all the years, Ray, has been baseball. America has rolled by like an army of steamrollers. It’s been erased like a blackboard, rebuilt, and erased again. But baseball has marked the time. This field, this game, is part of our past, Ray. It reminds us of all that was once good, and that could be good again. Oh people will come Ray, people most definitely will come.” I don’t think there was a more fitting way to begin a game at First Energy Park. This movie quote characterized the stadium…and boy, did “people come”. This stadium holds 6588 fans and according to the announcement made at the game, the park averages 8400 fans a game. (Lawn seats). Keep in mind that this is a Single A team, not even in a pennant race in their division. As most PA announcers usually remark about how their team’s fans are the leagues best fans in some kind of announcement throughout the game…I believe Blueclaw fans are the leagues best fans. They have the highest single A attendance rate and probably outnumber fans at Tropicana Field (The Devil Rays only average 15,000). 13,000 fans attended the final home game of the year for Lakewood, which establishes the fact that First Energy Park is indeed, first rate.
The game started off well with a strong opening to the game with the “Field of Dreams” movie segment. As the game progressed, the atmosphere seemed to be a little dull. Things seemed to be a little quiet. I think more crowd pumping music could have been played.
The stadium had the usual contests in between innings, but not as many as I am used to seeing. This may actually have been good, since the stupidity of some of those contests can be painful to watch.
