Getting to the Park and Parking: When I went to the game, we had spent the day at Fisherman's Wharf and Alcatraz so we had already gotten a good bargain on an "Early Bird" parking spot down by Pier 33. We decided to just stay through until the game and take advantage of not moving the car closer just to pay for parking at the game. It was a pretty good walk, but not completely unreasonable. If you are just going to the game, I recommend parking closer and sparing yourself the walk. Although, I am sure it is pricey to park closer.
Before the enter the gates: You might want to take a walk around the exterior of the park before entering. There are statues, a wall of fame, and historical markers.

Food: There is a variety of concesions available at the park. San Francisco's signature item is clam chowder in a bread bowl, which they do sell at the park. They also sell other seafood items such as a crab salad and crab sandwiches. Also, garlic fries are popular in San Francisco and are available at Gilroy's Garlic Fries Stands. There is also a BBQ stand called Pipkin's Pit BBQ.

Photo was taken on the tour prior to the game. The stand was open during the game.
Coca-Cola Fan Lot: This area contains a giant four-fingered baseball glove, slides, a mini AT&T Park and other family friendly attractions. This attraction is actually open year-round. The main attraction here is the slide...it contains two 56 foot long slides and two 20 foot slides.

Levi's Landing: Located in the Right Field section of AT&T Park with a view of McCovey Cove.. The "Splash Hits" counter is also located here.
McCovey Cove: Located behind the Right Field foul pole. It is approximately 355 feet from home plate. Home runs that land in the water are referred to as "Splash Hits".

Nice Views: Even from within the stadium, there are nice views of San Francisco.

Beware of Temperature: It can get quite cool in San Francisco. Don't think just because you are in California, it is going to feel like summer. I went to a night game in July and it was kind of chilly. Hence the reason vendors were walking around with large amounts of hot chocolate to sell.
