Atmosphere/Stadium Design:Beautiful stadium located in downtown San Diego. It was designed to reflect San Diego's sandy beaches, and cliffs. The seats are blue to reflect the color of the Pacific Ocean. One part of the stadium design that I do not like is how fans lose sight of the field in right field. The concourse just did not seem to flow together. Also, I do not care for the design in the upper deck where fans are obstructed by plexy glass on the steps going to the seats. It was a nice place to watch a game. The ushers were too restricting. I tried to take some pictures in other areas of the upper deck and was asked to leave. The location of the bullpens seemed a little odd to me. The visiting team's bullpen is located along the first base line and the Padres' bullpen is located beyond the outfield wall.
