Review is based on my visit on: July 21, 2010

Parking: There is a large lot surrounding the stadium which costs $17.

Historial Plaques: There is a circular area outside the stadium containing plaques honoring past Oakland Athletics.

Dark Concourses: The concourse area is very dark and gloomy. The concession stands are actually in view of the field, but fences have been put up to block the view of the field. I am assuming this was done for safety purposes.

Hungry?: There is a good variety of concessions available such as hot dogs, pizza, Rosa's Mexican Grill, fish and chips, Kinder's BBQ, and Philly Cheesesteaks.

Stomper: The team mascot is an elephant named, "Stomper".

Too Much Foul Territory: Since the Coliseum is a multi-purpose stadium and was not designed soley for baseball, there is way too much foul territory. Fans are seated far from the action.

Honoring Past Players: The upper deck seating is covered with a decorative tarp which containes the retired numbers of Rollie Fingers, Catfish Hunter, Reggie Jackson, Dennis Eckersley, and Rickey Henderson.

Mount Davis: The large structure beyond the outfield wall is known as Mount Davis. It was added on in the 1996 renovations. It contains luxury suites. The upper deck seats in this area are used only during football season. Before this massive structure was built, there was probably a decent view of the Oakland Hills.
