Surface: Natural Grass
Capacity: 6,002
Dimensions: Lf: 325 ft. Cf: 400 ft. Rf: 325 ft.
Stadium Opened: 2000

Food:

  • 3 main concession stands: Long Island Favorites, QuackerJack Snacks and Fowl Line Fare.
  • Concession prices were a little high. The cheapest hot dog was $4 and it was rather small.
  • Bottled soda and water were $4.00 and is served without the cap like a few other ballparks do as well. I don't like this concept. I like to be able to put the cap back on my drink.
  • Chicken Tenders, BBQ, Carvel, cupcakes, Boar's Head sandwiches and wraps were among the concession items.
  • Also, the menus/prices are partially covered by the overhang to the concession stands which makes them difficult to read unless you walk right up to the counter. Poor design.

Parking:

  • There are a few large paved parking lots outside the stadium. Parking is free.
  • No more traffic jams getting in or out.

Seating/Stadium Design:

  • Green fold-down seats throughout entire seating bowl. No bleacher seating.
  • Seats in the seating bowl could be steeper for better view.
  • Entenmann's Picnic area in Right Field - Too bad they don't serve an All-You-Can Eat buffet of Entenmann's products. If that was the case, I would have been there in a second!
  • Luxury Suites
  • Kids Play Area - inflatable jump house in right field and Speed Pitch in Left Field concourse area.

Atmosphere/Character:

Bethpage Ballpark is similar to other Atlantic League Ballparks (Ballpark at Harbor Yard and TD Bank Ballpark). There aren't really any unique features of the ballpark. It is nice and clean, but a little forgettable.
  • Mascot's name: "QuackerJack"

Overall Rating:
