Atmosphere/Character:
- "Classic" sounding Public Address announcer
- On-Field Entertainment was run by an older man, called L.I. Sounder. He wore a captain's hat, as if he were captain of the "ship". He was much better than the younger (intern type) on-field entertainers. He wasn't obnoxiously excited.
- Fans were into the game
- Ads between each pitch, which are read by the P.A. announcer are distracting
Seating/Stadium Design:
- 3 price levels of seating: Field Box, Loge, and Reserved (General admission)
- Train running beyond the outfield fence. (Metro-North and Amtrak)
- Arena at Harbor Yard visible over the left field fence.
- Large power plant beyond the right field fence, gives the stadium an "industrial" feel and also provides some character.
