Atmosphere/Character:
- Located on Bridgeport's Long Island Sound near Long Island Port Jeff Ferry. Built on the site of the former Jenkins Valve Factory and Sprague Meter Company
- "Classic" sounding Public Address announcer
- Fans were into the game
- Jim O'Rourke statue outside ballpark installed in 2010. O'Rourke hit the first hit in National League history.
- Mascot -B.B. the Bluefish
- Atmosphere kind of has a bland feeling to it - although, to be fair, I haven't been to a game here during the summer when there is probably a larger crowd. I have only been to games in April and May when the crowds have been rather small.
Seating/Stadium Design:
- 3 price levels of seating: Field Box, Loge, and Reserved (General admission)
- Seating bowl could be steeper
- Train running beyond the outfield fence atop a brick wall (Metro-North and Amtrak)
- Arena at Harbor Yard visible over the left field fence.
- Large power plant beyond the right field fence, gives the stadium an "industrial" feel and also provides some character.
- Picnic area along right field.
- Kids Play Area also near right field (Hi-Ho D'Addario Kids' Cove)
- Luxury Suites
- Bluefish Gear Shop is the team store.
