Food:

• Prices were very reasonable- $1 hot dogs, $1 small sodas (in 2006)
• Food selection was minimal
• Chicken sandwiches and sausage sandwiches were also available
• Plenty of space to walk around in the concourse area outside and sit at a picnic table and eat.

Parking:

• Parking is $2.00 (in 2006) on City Island or you can park downtown and walk across the pedestrian bridge.

Seating/Stadium Design:

• All seats were aluminum
• Majority of the seats are bleachers
• no luxury suites
• Renovations in 2009 added a boardwalk and counter seats in outfield concourse

Atmosphere/Character:

Metro Bank Park (formerly called Commerce Bank Park) is located on City Island in the middle of the Susquehanna River.  The island contains the stadium, mini-golf, batting cages, and various little shops and concession stands along the water’s edge. 

The stadium isn’t anything out of the ordinary, but its location is unique. The disappointing part of the location of this stadium was that it should have been built so that the spectators would have a view of the river.

Origin of Team's Name:

The "Senators" nickname refers to the host city being the capital (Harrisburg) and thus home of the Pennsylvania legislature.
